Deep-sky objects
Nightshade includes a data-base of hundreds of colored images belonging to the Messier catalogue and many other objects included in several non-stellar object catalogues, as NGC, IC, Hubble, etc. All these objects, once selected, can be analyzed in detail through the zoom function of the remote control till the field of view of the dome is filled. All the objects are oriented exactly as seen from the telescope and with their real magnitude. The catalogue, moreover, can be increased as desired, through the periodical free Internet upgrades, inserting images by the user using the stratoscripts or through projecting images or videos previously stored in the internal hard disk. Therefore the catalogue, thanks to these resources, not available in the competitors’ products, can be nearly endless.
